Slow living isn't about doing less. It's about doing things at the pace they deserve. Mornings are a good place to start, because the tone you set at 7am tends to follow you all day.
1. Water before anything
A glass of water before coffee is a small, kind first act.
2. Let the light in
Open the curtains and step outside, even for a minute.
3. Sit down for breakfast
Not at the desk, not in the car. A short, seated breakfast is a slow meal in miniature.
4. Keep the phone asleep
Give yourself the first stretch of the morning without notifications.
5. Choose one intention
Not a to-do list. One word for the day: gentle, present, lohi.
